Memberships and tipping: current status
This short lesson exists so nobody — creator or viewer — is misled about earning on Vidnexa today.
What exists
- Studio includes a Memberships area where channel membership tiers can be defined, and membership panels appear in the admin console.
- Tipping is built into the site's donation/tip flow as a feature.
What is not active yet
Payments are not configured on Vidnexa yet. Until a payment provider is connected, memberships cannot charge anyone and tips cannot actually be sent — the join and tip actions answer honestly that payments are not available, and no money moves. There are no payout schedules, thresholds, or revenue terms to quote, because none are in effect.
What to do meanwhile
- Build the audience first: subscribers, watch time, and a community that shows up — those are what make memberships viable the day payments open.
- You may explore the membership tier tools in Studio, but do not promise viewers perks for payment yet.
This lesson will be updated when payments go live, with the real terms at that time — and only then.
