I read that she didn't want the kid but that she was pressured into it by her husband, it wrecked her body further (she was already obese etc), and then that she didn't bond with the child properly, angry that the child was taking her husband's time and attention from her. <br><br>She likely never should have had the kid, and should have left her husband if having children was that big of an issue for their relationship on his side.
Nothing else Matters to her so she decided to Seek and Destroy her family. Now The Masters of Puppets will decide her fate. Sad but True.

Don't care about the mental health talks as that never leads to fixing everybody, as too many refuse to be fixed. Don't care about statistics as it only counts who's easier to find (especially dangerous women who do not self-expose enough over the decades, more coincidentally exposed than not, making them uniquely harder to expose until recent years). He likely thought his wife was somebody who's completely incapable of harm, let alone towards their child. Too many people allowing themselves to lose frontal cortex balance developed to keep us chill, instead descending to darkness. And certain people will still tell us this is not serious, let alone writers of recent fiction trying to make a statement on real life, yet telling us this never happens.
With a name like Metallica, this was all destined.
