Kenya is beautiful, but make no mistake, life is harsh here since most of the country isn't arable land. We have regular famines where millions of people and livestock face starvation.

Can anybody explain to me how the Portuguese arrived in the 15 hundreds and missed the thriving Gedi Empire with same building signature like the fort Jesus allegedly build by the Portuguese using slaves and how come Gedi disappeared 100 years later after the arrivals of foreigners(Portuguese and Arabs) and why the coast was a Cities Empires? Since when did Portuguese curve buildings like those Ethiopian churches nearby and the ones in India and elsewhere?These people not only stole our land!<br>Another thing is that how the narrator had to say about the fact of the Fort Being Curved not built and how come he still asserted that the Portuguese were the first to capture it and then the rest why fail to say who they captured it from or is it from the ghosts people of Gedi too?

It’s easy to get folks to have watched the documentary without the somewhat intentional <b>bit</b> at the onset of the video package which obviously seems to have negatively resonated w/ natives of the country or folks who’ve visited the nation who rightly so, were taken aback by the choice of the words. Africa is a completely different continent compared to Europe, Asia or America, the wildlife that Africa has cannot be seen anywhere else, the sounds and nature smells cannot be appreciated anywhere else. Having had the opportunity to travel to South Africa and Botswana, I can confidently say this. Africa is something special. Very nice documentary, thanks for sharing! 😍

<br>While the wild is unforgiving, Kenya is also a welcoming home to millions and a breathtaking destination for travelers. The previous title felt a bit misleading given the beauty shown in the film. The new title better captures the balance between the survival instinct and the stunning landscapes described in the documentary.
