What is the purpose of the "whoosh" sounds? For example, the ones at 1:34 and 5:56. These sounds are intrusive and get in the way. Peace, out.

Just saw this video, felt like I was watching my own story play out five years ago. Back then, I lived paycheck to paycheck, rent due tomorrow meant skipping meals today. One bad trade could’ve erased everything I had saved for college or emergencies. But meeting the right mentor changed the game completely. He didn’t just teach me charts; he taught me patience, discipline, how to sleep through volatility, and even helped me buy my first rental property within 3 months of starting. Now? My kids have trust funds before they’re even born, and I still wake up excited about what’s next instead of dreading bills. If you're tired of running on a treadmill that never ends, this is your lifeline.

Are you sure you are a businessman or a youtuber? Contrary to what many think, in reality, good business men are lousy business consultants or teachers and vise versa. As the saying goes, those who can do, do. Those who can not do, teach. Knowing is one thing, executing is totally different and usually when you have one, you miss the other. That is why there are business people, and there are business consultants. And there are youtubers.

Re: Pallet recycling/rebuilding. Your picture said it all, mountains of scrap! While working as production manager at a local manufacturer a few years back, I was in charge of procuring pallets. We used both CHEP pallets (the blue ones) and so-called "grocery pallets" - lower grade "brown" pallets.

During this time a "new" supplier came to our town, from a nearby city with property located directly adjacent to Lake Michigan. The owner had received a sizable "incentive" from that city to vacate the property and relocate. He approached our town, "promising" good jobs, a clean operation, and of course improving the local economy. And, indeed, he found a location, bought it, and set up his facility.

After perhaps a year, we started buying pallets from his company. One day there was some sort of issue, I believe the delivery was not ready, and so I went there and spoke to the owner directly. As I had not been in that part of town in a while, driving up I was surprised because I saw several large piles of scrap pallets, much higher than the steel fencing surrounding the property. When I went in, speaking to him, he was unshaven, dressed in dirty jeans and a dirty T-shirt. He took me into the plant, showed me around, explaining to me that all of his equipment had not been set up yet, and that he still did not have a full staff.

As I myself was (and still am) a "working boss" I understood his dilemma very well, and continued to work with his company. But, after some time, the ongoing eyesore of the pallets had raised eyebrows with local officials, and it became headlines in the local news. And afterwards I always felt, this must be why the previous city wanted his company to relocate!!

Terrible advice on all fronts. HVAC and refrigeration is one of the most difficult trades to learn, and in most places you have to be certified and it takes a 4 yr apprenticeship. Almost all restaurants have food delivery through Sysco or GFS and multiple fridges, so if they break down they have capacity to move food or ask the supplier to help them - but what they actually do is call a tech who deals with it right away so food storage is just a dumb idea. The accounting practice AI systematization - couldn't be a dumber idea - small accounting firms have personal relationships with their customers who have no loyalty to the firm and will frequently follow the accountant if he changes the practice. When I go see Nick to do my taxes, I know him, and I trust him. I could care less where he worked. If he sold his company and was no longer involved, I am not a customer of the new company and they better not do anything with my information. I was only a client because I liked Nick. So the idea of now having something as important as my bookkeeping or taxes done by AI when the whole point was the relationship I had with Nick is what types like you do across the economy and ruin everything. Your endless desire to maximize your efficiency and profits end up killing businesses because I don't want to do self banking. I want to speak to a real person.

EVERY business is F-Tier unless you get a major breakout due to luck, many times. Margins are pitiful, otherwise everyone jumps on it - and when they do, they compete with each other to bring the margins down. For every "A-Tier" business out there, there is a desperate business owner wanting to sell it. This is the truth. This is why it's a numbers game. Year 1 fail rate for businesses is apprx 24%. This jumps to 50% within 5 years. Then it's 65.35% for 10+ years. This ONLY takes into account complete failures. It does NOT take into account struggling businesses, or businesses that just barely pay for their own operational expenses. If you take that in, it jumps to around 99%. You need serious Asymmetry and luck to breakout.
