Only here for Patty
Only here for Patty Smyth. Never heard this track before.
I love you ❤️
Great band!
No Mistakes 以前のパティスマイスの動画を初めて観ました。❤
The expanded edition of The Warrior has some of her EP or early recordings on that. It's fabulous.
80s fashion was too cool ❤ miss those days ❤ .
Godmother of punk! Became an 80s iconic pop star!
Lucky to be in the eighties when I was a kid ,didn't know how good things were😮. I feel quite a bit.Sorry for the youth today.Having such crappy music and all the distractions like I'm holding in my hand right now. This bloody phone. However , I get to enjoy watching this great talented band.❤
great voice, so pretty, figure back in the day
I am to old to have a crush on an old video, but I do.
They dont make american women anymore like this now its just twerk, hip hop / rap, i wanna be girl boss and all that garbage
1984 the year I fell in love
I saw her years ago. JUst her and two back up musicians with acoustical instruments. She was great.
She embodies everything magical about the 80's.
There were plenty of pretty singers back then but whenever one of the Scandal videos came on, I was standing at attention.
This era of rock music was so great. It's sad that it will never be this good ever again.
Sigh !
ces gens doivent etres vieux en 2026 et tous fanes comme moi
This band deserved way better. Excellent
Flotter Song,der gute Laune macht😊
I like the original version of this video better, that included Jon Bon Jovi, when they were trying to get a record deal
Johnny Mac 🎾 did well
The music today is so lost !!!!! I would give anything to go back 63 to 84
In an interview she comes across as abrasive. Not sweet. That was disappointing.
Back when a man was a man and a woman was a woman. And Boy George was a woman too😂.
Hard to believe this wasn’t a big hit. Those coked up music executives fell asleep on Scandal and Patty Smyth.
Hermosa canción, tiene todo el sentimiento de los años 80!!!
Fantastic.
She was one of the ones that made the 80's great love you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
80s chicks were the last chicks.
Patty Smyth is the warrior 2026 06/30/26
Great songs from scandal love this band .
ヴァンヘレンに誘われてたて本当ですか
RIP Thommy Price .. Thommy also played drums with Billy Idol, Joan Jett, Michael Monroe, Roger Daltrey, the list goes on ...
Women are magical beings! ❤
Ah the 80s. I remember it well.
Insufferable ego. But great voice
Imagine being this gorgeous and having an amazing rock voice as well! What a woman!!! 😍
Bring back ruffles and curls. :)
Ah the toxic beauty queens getting shown the door.
Besides Patty’s stunning looks, there are some catchy hooks and tempo changes. I vaguely recall this one.
The woman of the 80s were, and still are the most gorgeous thing God ever made. Best singers to :)
Scandal was one of my favorites back in the day, Ms. Smyth could sing a catchy pop song like no else, and she was a tight little package on top of that, the camera loved her, as I did and still do! She even had some great music after her "Scandal" days!
Needs Bon Jovi
I remember having a beer with this band in the under the stage room at the Paramount Theatre, Seattle in 1983. Patty was a real hottie in the 80’s.
She didn't need VH. This from a lifetime VH fan and supporter.
Mullet nation!
Thommy Price! ... Legend '80's Gun-for-Hire', to the Stars.
so early 80s vibe .......my highschool days in the p[hilippines , magical times
🔥🔥🙌🏼🙌🏼
Youth's fire !
I would have LOVED to see her perform with Van Halen.
It's got a line on me.
What a great time it was for music 🎶
Patty Cake was made for short skirts!
I mean, they were at the top of their game, when MTV was just making a name for itself!
I still love Patty, and scandal to this day! They were definitely a part of the music that shaped the 80s, which is one of the greatest decades from music ever!
They act they all have a chance with her. So funny!
She has that sweet, Country, rock voice that is very impressive. I can see why Eddie Van Halen wanted her in the band. I would’ve loved to have heard her sing a couple Van Halen songs.❤
Well I don’t miss it that much. I made lots of bad choices. Girls , partying etc. missing opportunities. I do miss all my family members that passed away.
Thank you so very much, Patty Smyth. {"kudos"}. , Aleksandr M. Studenikin trademarked ™️ STUDENIKIN Vladimir Putin because I am so
This band should have been huge but record companies always destroy the good ones. Saw them on a tv show where they get bands that broke up back together for one show…they have a sad history but when they got together they sounded just as good as in the 80s. Wire Train was another great band that should have been huge also destroyed by record labels. Saw them on same show reunited.
oof thanks for this, forgot and liked.
No tattoos. No twerking. ❤️
This video cost $29 to make, but the song is boss! It's a crime it wasn't a bigger hit. 1983....I want you back.
Patty turned Van Halen down! Thats a FACT!
Fantastic! Patty deserves to be in the RRHF!
Just a kid in the 80s often forget how weird the music videos could be
I always was amazed at the way she and the melody
She was a great singer and writer
In this day 43 years ago was launched this GREAT video.
Zach Smith hired a crush and she took over the band from him!
Beautiful and very sexy!!
Great vid, I really miss the 80's music and the fun days back then.
Great voice, but the orchestration and arrangement here is REALLY boring. I suspect that is why Scandal didn't make it big.
Great music and Band Gratitude for your music 🎶🙏❤
What handsome guys she had in the band! 🙂
She didn't age well
Her voice is incredible and invincible. And of course, she is from NYC with her husband. When she sings, I think of NYC.
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I wish I could have seen her front Van Halen. ✌🏽❤️
Scandal is like a real rock interpretation of the Pretenders. XD
Amazing album and Band Gratitude for your music 🎶❤
Patty was so fine, 80s girls were the best, no armpit hair, no tattoos, no incessantly staring into a phone, just looking good and being real.
That’s gone now unfortunately.
She’s as beautiful as her voice, married to John McEnroe, could’ve become DLR replacement in VH.. would’ve been better than Hagar
This could've been a Debbie Harry song. Both Patty and Debbie were both pint-sized and could belt out a song.
She had such a charming 80s voice
It took me 4 or 5 stores til I finally found their first album...at Woolworths! And I love Patty's trademark jumping up n down.
RIP Ivan, Benji, Frankie and Thommy. All of those guys helped shape Scandal to the band they became for that short bit 😢
When it comes to music, I'm forever stuck in the 80s!
Stunning lady married to John Mc
She has the most powerful voice love her and her music
She was New Wave's answer to Linda Ronstadt.
Stunning with the voice of an angel in disguise
Man I miss these days.
Especially women who were talented and not trashy.
Her voice was just amazing.
That extra guitar player is queer. Leave her alone. Jeeze.
Patty Smyth...has a great voice...Love this song 80's or not.!!! 🏸🏸🏸🏸
Anyone here 2025? 👋
Under rated band and singer
Can you believe she’s married to John McEnroe
Muy hermosa y bella cantante
