Politicians often keep their speeches simple. The most common structure is Monroe’s Motivated Sequence. It goes like this: grab attention, show the problem, give a solution, make people imagine the result, and end with a clear action. This makes their words easy to follow and persuasive.

I really liked this video and thanks for that work it was interesting and educative.
I have one thing I do not agree with:
Politics is not persuasion. Politics is a greek word, meaning "pertaining to public life " and I do think that we shall stick to it.
The bridges are really annoying. A question should not be considered as an attack and I honestly hate to not get an answer to a question. This is something that I Expect from family fiends, clubs and it could be expected from governments also.

Why will I want to speak like the very people I loathe the most? Politicians are evil beings
@cesarzambrano7742
I can understand lying by omission which might be the bridge strategy he's talking about. You wouldn't want to release sensitive information so carelessly. What would constitute sensitive is whether or not the public is firm enough to handle it. If it causes unnecessary trouble then it's better to just leave it out and build a "bridge" for the sake of simplicity. This I do understand and that's actually really important. They did it a little too much that it may have been too embarrassing to just admit they were on some wavelength that just made no sense and it was just too late to turn back out of sheer embarrassment. That's all I can really make out of it. If they regress or admit that they're actually lost then they risk being embarrassed so they just keep plowing ahead. They at least are running in some form of logic it's just that they're already too deep they see it better to make the ends of their original goals. So even though they're wrong they just never recovered. You can get away with lying if you recover from it. But they never did. When I say "they" I'm referring to American politicians. They simply kept creating more and more "bridges" without any real plan. And then lo and behold Mr. Trump who literally talks to the public like he's got a 6th grade reading level, which he doesn't I'm not sure why he dumbs himself down maybe to make himself so clare the media won't be able to twist his words, it just kind of makes me laugh sometimes because he's smarter when he's actually speaking with full intent.

The first time Trump was gaining popularity I thought it was a joke. I wasn't offended by him but I thought it ridiculous for him to be president I assumed it was out of his depth. After his first term he didn't exactly earn my full respect. I would give him a C+ for his first term which honestly is still pretty good. C+ feels almost like a let down and I can definitely see why he was so upset when he lost against Biden because in his head he would've made the C+ into so much more and I believe he had earnest intentions. It was a good thing that he lost to further clarify the difference what the trade offs actually were. Currently I don't think he could've done any better for his first year and give him B-.
@cesarzambrano7742
It was partly due to politics that I didn't value literacy as I do now. They're unfortunately tied together. I met countless of people who knew how to say a lot of nice words I began to detest it. The truth is like a crow bar flying at your head. Yes enlightened me with all the details as the thing smashes your skull to pieces. What good is all of that?

These days I can't tolerate much other than books. Just the way I am felt like I wasted loads of time doing other meaningless crap but oh well . I knew that I would end up reading all day once I get older which is why I kind of held it off to see if there was more to life and to tell you the truth not really, other than the more obvious vices. All I do is read now I can't tolerate movies anymore. The most my enemies ever did was slow me down.
