Today I’m traveling across Brazil to test some of the tallest and most extreme water slides in the country.
From record-breaking body slides to massive water coasters and even a slide built directly into a mountain, Brazil might have some of the wildest waterpark attractions on Earth.
In this video, we climb through five levels of Brazil’s tallest water slides, starting from zero height and working our way up to the tallest slide in the entire country.
Along the way we visit some of Brazil’s most famous waterparks including Thermas dos Laranjais, Beach Park, and Salto das Águas, testing legendary rides like:
• Toboágua Rio – the viral stand-up slide that throws riders into rapids
• Surreal – Brazil’s tallest water coaster with powerful uphill launches
• Insano – the iconic 134-foot drop that once held the world record for tallest waterslide on Earth
• Vértigem – a 137-foot mountain slide so intense you have to wear protective gear
• Kilimanjaro – the 164-foot tallest body slide in Brazil, once the tallest water slide in the world
To figure out which slide is actually the craziest, we score each one based on:
• Intensity – how extreme the ride feels
• Ride Quality – how fun and smooth the experience is
• Effort vs Reward – whether the climb is worth it
By the end, we reveal which water slide in Brazil truly delivers the wildest experience.
After traveling to waterparks around the world, Brazil might have one of the most unique waterpark lineups anywhere — from record-breaking rides to homemade mountain parks built into the jungle.
