I used to live in Singapore before moving to Canada in 2010, a lot of the stuff shown here like the Jewel didn't exist back then, so it's crazy to see how Changi Airport has changed so much in 16 years.

I've been transiting through Changi since 1990....changed every time I passed through. Fun hangout airport. Prices have gone through the roof, keeping up with expanded amenities. Those heavily used carpets need to be updated.

I have an idea, you know residence class seating? The one with a living room and couch? It sounds stupid, but what if you make every seat like that one, for the same price as ECONOMY, everybody will instantly start purchasing seats, you would make millions of dollars, and then, to keep up, other airports will do the same, you make billions, and we get perfect flights!

Now, compare this to my home airport (LAX) where till this day, there is no direct rail service to the terminals, you need to take a shuttle bus just to get an Uber ride and a mile walk from your gate to the baggage claim with no assistance for those who have difficulty doing so. This is what happens when labor unions control an airport and refuse to concede to technology and automation. BTW, I've been to Changi many times and can confirm that it's light years ahead of anything we have here in the U.S.

Whenever I travel out of my country and go through other immigration, I am proud of Changi Airport.
I just had a very unpleasant experience.I accidentally put 100 ml cream in my lhand luggage. .This is very important to my skin. I want to try to use it.Very small plastic bags.They said no.I said what I wouldn't take it back until I came back, Or I'll check it, because it's still early...They not allow I record a complaint They forcibly me deleted. there is no way to complain.I also saw the police beating the chair wake up sleeping .Passengers asked them to get up and check their passports....Looks a little rough.😮This is a world-class airport.Their service surprised me. terminal 4...It feels like we're prisoners.fearful
Absolutely, the Systematic work and integration between T and the transportation. I saw the staff are helpful especially in the self check in & bagage area. Great place to shop, buy snacks and clean toilet.
