You can get everything in Singapore, for a price. Just next door in Johor, everything is also available at half price or less. But you feel safe in Singapore. There is just no comparison. If you don't want to be worrying about your wallet, passport, or your own safety, then yes, we are very clinically safe here.

Foreigners who never been to Singapore most likely did not know how humidity Singapore is. The nice picture they see on internet of bright sunny Singapore looks great on paper but they mistaken the summer look as their summer . The summer in Singapore is at Worlds most humid level . It's not summer in the west or Japan where the humidity is still much lower and skin won't feel so sticky and uncomfortable as in singapore
Singapore is safe for families, solo travellers especially women solo or group travellers.
I loved Tanjung beach before it became Miami beach. Now I don't go there anymore.

I lived and worked in Singapore from 1986_1991 and comparing then and now, there is massive transformations and improvements that it is unrecognizable. Singapore is one of the best in the world.

Haji lane used to be all local stores and authentic, until all the mainland chinese renting out all the stores and start selling all these mainland toys and souvenirs for their mainland chinese tourists, and all these people eating the prawn mee in the stores are not even local singaporeans. This whole area has become a tourist trap. Sad case.

Hey Nelly you're in my hometown. Checkout the food at hawker centres, the biggest is at Chinatown. They're cheap and delicious and some of them are Michelin recognised
