I don't think Singapore has made it on the radar for most UK folks but holy smokes, what an unbelievably excellent looking holiday destination. I can't wait to visit. I'm overwhelmed by how much there is to see and do (thanks to channels like yours) and every time I watch a travel vlog I add something else to my itinerary. All the lush tropical landscaping in the congested urban setting, the glorious weather and the foooooood! Can't wait! Thank you for this upload.

Remember the Long Bar always had lots of peanuts and the shells would be discarded on the floor. That was what was expected. No bar bins made available ! <br>Not so busy back in the mid to late nineties and very early 2000s. <br>Favoured other bars more though. But it was a good experience. So many changes. What I will always find fascinating is their runway road. Miss the stalls from that era. Selling yummy food and good cans of tiger beer. <br>Thanks for sharing.

Watching from Australia. You've done a wonderful video. I had to show my son the ice cream Uncle as thats where I got mine from. Also spent several hours at Raffles last year chatting to another solo traveller. Atlas bar amazing I had a Bernese Bob and cheese platter. The afternoon tea looks amazing. I spent 2 weeks last May and im back for another 2 weeks this June can't wait Mt Faber and Henderson Bridge on my list. Safe travels.

Astonishing. One can only wonder what a resident of the early 1960s, when Singapore was one of the poorest places on earth, would make of their city-state/country today.
