<b>Just a heads-up to all Israeli passport holders visiting Singapore: Most of the officers working for the </b><b><i>Immigration and Checkpoints Authority</i></b><b> (ICA) of Singapore, which is the body that controls all entry/exit points of Singapore, are of Singaporean Malay (Muslim) descent. I have an Israeli friend who visited Singapore along with her teenage daughter in March (last month) for 6 days. Upon arriving at Changi International Airport, she and her daughter were subjected to aggressive questioning by the ICA Malay male in uniform. It&#39;s not the questions that were out-of-order, it&#39;s the manner in which they were being asked -- aggressively and very rudely. Visitors to a country, </b><b><i>any</i></b><b> country, deserve to be treated with courtesy and not be singled out for &quot;special treatment&quot; because of their nationality. My friend is adamant that the Malay man did what he did the moment he saw the words &quot;State of Israel&quot; emblazoned on her passport.</b>

For me, Singapore is just the tourism destination in the level of <b><i>&quot;just need to know.&quot;</i></b><b> Nothing special, never been missing. Once is enough.</b> Spending the same budget for Thailand, Vietnam or China, it will be <b>much worth it,</b> in various tourism destinations. Singapore is overprice on accommodation.

Singapore is just another Asian city. Visited 5 years ago in the summer. It is quite clean. But the price is way higher than most Asian cities. The summer was extremely hot and not pleasant for sightseeing. The attractions are mediocre in my opinion.
