What's interesting is that countries where ethnic Chinese are the majority have become economically overpowered.

Why would they protest when the government is trying to keep the country safe?

Problem with most governments is that judiciary is under the umbrella of govts. It should be pulled out and placed above governments, to prevent govt from abusing the laws.

My daughter Sarah Sophia was abducted against her will by Singapore government in 2021 - when she was far happier at home and with her dad when there was no violence, no incidents, etc etc, except that they falsely alleged that she had suicidal THOUGHTS at age (9!) which she herself vehemently denies! It's completely fabricated along with all other lies just to find excuses to KIDNAP children against their will. The hypocrisy is UNACCEPTABLE and UNETHICAL, and obviously wicked and evil especially when the child, years later was brainwashed by unscrupulous GOVERNMENT employees aka flying monkeys!

This was reported to OHCHR and UNICEF with proofs and evidences which the public can see for themselves online. That is why the Singapore government does NOT want you to know about all this and so brazenly determined to shut people out, up and down through censorship and punishing whistleblowers. How can we ever get proper justice? So only the rich can keep their children AND get to access other children belonging to other parents? ABSURD.

Rightminded people, investigative journalists and human rights advocates should investigate these incidents as well as ALL cases of missiing children, that these unscrupulous blind conscience government employees know about.

Yet Singapore government remained dismissive, violating our Singapore Constitution as if they have more rights to our children, than natural parents! Children are NEVER government property.

There was no proper explanation nor recourse given - not even an apology, nor providing physical proof or evidence that about her well-being now, or whether she is still under duress. How can perfect total strangers be condoned or allowed to access children and alter the minds of the children that they abducted, yes no other euphemistic words should be used (a rose by any other name is still a rose) and there should not be double standards as if government is above the law!

Sarah Sophia was clearly never been mistreated by her dad whom she still loves and happy with yet, they convinced her she does not need natural dad. That is terribly abrasive and intrusive, an attaxk against indigenous families and parents is ok? For government to act like terrorists is okay?

How can governments manipulate narratives (they are able to do so only because obsequious unquestioning citizens tended to believe governments), but often the dads are being treated as scapegoats because of blatant misandry, especially when indigenous families are purposefully being "attacked" just to displace or dilute sense of identity and heritage.

One cannot compare any country to post war conditions. Yes it was bad. But Mr. Lee Kuan Yew wasn’t only a visionary, he put into practice his vision for Singapore and he encouraged all Singaporeans to join him. Dictators do not do that. He ensured that his vision and planning is 50 years ahead, I did not like it when I was young because I did not understand it. But in the last 30 years, it came into fruition and after traveling all over the world especially Asia, Singapore is far beyond what other countries can offer. Lee Kuan Yew said, nothing in this world is free, so we all put our hands into it and did what was and is necessary.

Dictatorships, like kingdoms, can function better than anything else as long as the ruler has his people's best interests mind. However, benevolent leaders always die eventually, and who follows will enjoy the established power but may have an entirely different approach to ruling. Succession is the weak point of all "benevolent" dictatorships.

MALAYSIAN EX PM Mahathir Mohamad declared that “Singapore is a Chinese state”. But the elite pro western anti-China “Singaporean Chinese”denied their Chinese roots!!
Singapore gets very nervous when its larger Malay neighbors say they're Chinese and so they seek to appease the neighbors, but when it comes to embracing Israel, which is the single most sensitive area of Malay foreign policy, these same Singaporeans will 'bravely' ignore them. Same thing with putting up US military bases.
A bunch of double standards aimed only at suppressing Chinese identity.What percentage of Singapore's civil service are Indians? ❓❗ 😂 Cabinet ministers: 25%; Overall civil servants: 35%; Middle and senior management: Nearly 40% 😂 Singapore's Indianization is inevitable; within 10 years, the Indian population will reach 50% 😂 Calling it "Inca Singapore" or "Curry Singapore" would be much more fitting!

Classic US made blabla, with ENDLESS repeat repeat repeat. The video could be condenced to about 12 minutes... and even then, the current social-economic disaster for the low wage workers is completely left out of this propaganda piece. Ever more, Signaporeans are voting with their FEET, because they cannot vote how they want in elections. They walk out of the STRESS-city , (back) to Malaysia, where they can have a better life (100 times less stress) with less then 1/2 the income. Philippines, if takes itself seriously, just like Singapore, NO EXCEPTIONS TO CORRUPTION, being smart in using it's Natural Resources, Build-up of Infrastructure, and Investments in Education, Philippines can become a powerhouse. Ensure home ownership, reliance in trust of investment dollars, and death sentence to corruption (from political family legacies like the Dutuertes and their allies with selling the Philippine waters to China, and others) with well compensation as government employees. The Philippines needs to do these to build itself out of poverty and into the first world living. This generation, the Millennials and Gen Z will bring this kind of world to the future of Philippines. We are DONE WAITING FOR OUR ELDERS TO GET THEIR SHIT TOGETHER. We need to build ourselves up NOW!
@_xBrokenxDreamsx_
Probably the most effective form of governance: low-tax, laissez-faire capitalism for productive, law-abiding people, combined with a harsh authoritarian approach toward criminals and communists. This creates an enormous concentration of talent and economic productivity — ambitious, intelligent people are free to build giant businesses and create wealth, while people who undermine social/political order are heavily punished or pushed out of the system. The government is basically a really good doctor that targets cancer cells and destroys them before they metastasize but leaves the healthy regions completely undamaged.
