Those strick laws are only for poor people. Their entire economy is build on money laundering. Singapore is one of those place where crooks and greedy billionaires stash their money.
I used to work in a casino hotel and we have had guests pee in the elevators. So i wasnt too shocked to see that was a fine-able transgression. I want to know how they track you down to fine you if you dont flush lol
I lived in Singapore before, we were not allowed to even chew a gum😢 I mean they don’t sell one because they don’t want to leftover gum sticking everywhere in the country. Actually they do sell gums but only the dental ones.
I live in Singapore and peeing in elevators is part of the rules as in HDBs which are like huge buildings with many apartments, some uncivilised people pee in the elevator and this was a common problem in my country
Singapore 🇸🇬 “fine country”✨

Me:
Step aside I live here😎

Edit: But the restrictions make Singapore 🇸🇬 more clean and eco friendly
The quote appears in a short video discussed on HardwareZone Forums, where a woman interviewer says:

As a Singaporean, I think after LKY Passed on, some rules like flushing and littering and smoking out of designated areas, no one follows it sometimes I can see ALOT of litter and people smoking but I think everyone flushes (maybe some ppl are dirty)
As a Singaporean, I am very proud of these and it has made us safe, reliable and stable for many years, and I hope for many more years to come. Majulah and Viva la Singapura. That being said, it doesn't mean we are perfect and we've gotten many things needing work on too :) But.. it just works.
