How monetization works

Monetization on Vidnexa

This page describes only what exists on Vidnexa today: which monetization features are built, how payout requests work, and what is not switched on yet.

What exists today

• Donations and tips — video and channel pages offer ways for viewers to support creators, and creators can review donations from their account pages. Earnings are tracked in Studio → Monetization.
• Channel memberships — creators can create membership tiers in Studio. Memberships are currently switched off site-wide by the admin and are not open for enrollment.
• Earnings dashboard — Studio → Monetization tracks your balance by source (donations, memberships, and ads where available) and shows your progress toward the payout threshold.

Payout threshold

You can request a payout once your available balance reaches the minimum payout threshold, currently $50. The threshold is set by the admin in Payment Settings and may change; the value enforced is the one shown on the payout request page.

Requesting a payout

Open Request payout (linked from your creator revenue page), enter an amount at or above the threshold and at or below your available balance, choose a payout method (PayPal, bank transfer, or Stripe Connect), and submit. The page shows the fee for the method you pick before you submit. Your request is recorded with the status Pending for review.

Current status — please read

Payment processing is not configured yet on Vidnexa: no payment gateway is connected, so donations, tips and memberships cannot actually charge anyone today, and payout requests cannot be paid out yet. Until that changes, balances and requests are records only, not completed payments. This page will be updated when the admin connects payment processing.
