Polokwane hawkers fight for their right to trade

Some street hawkers say they are facing challenges when trading in Polokwane in Limpopo. They say they face constant harassment from municipal law enforcement officers because they are unable to obtain permits. They accuse the Polokwane municipality of sending them from pillar to post when they apply for the permits. They also say that law enforcement officers confiscate their stock from time to time.
