Disaneng community writes to Madlanga Commission

The community of Disaneng village and the surrounding areas near Mahikeng in the North West province, have written to the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry, to investigate allegations of collusion between police and criminals in the area. In their letter, community members allege that they have opened many cases relating to crime, but that these were never investigated by police. They claim police officers often release criminals without charging them, even when they caught them with stolen property.
