#Polish #alpine pioneer becomes first Pole to #ski down #NangaParbat

Another mountain. Another world first.

Polish mountaineer Andrzej Bargiel became the first Pole ever to ski down Nanga Parbat, the infamous 8,126-meter "Killer Mountain," without supplemental oxygen.

The historic descent also made him the first climber to summit and ski all five of Pakistan's 8,000-meter peaks without bottled oxygen.
