Drug Bust | Multi-million rand drug manufacturing lab discovered outside Musina

The head of the Hawks in Limpopo, Major General Gopaul Govender is concerned that drug syndicates are using remote farms for their operations.

He was commenting after the discovery of a multi-million rand drug manufacturing lab outside Musina in Limpopo.

A joint law enforcement operation by the Hawks, SAPS, Crime Intelligence, and Narcotics Bureau made the bust.

Four people were arrested in a similar case two years ago after drugs with an estimated street value of R2 billion was found on a farm in Groblersdal, also in Limpopo.
