Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelenskyy is renewing calls for allies to deliver much-needed air defense systems on the eve of a high-stakes meeting with Donald Trump in the Turkish capital of Ankara. At the same time, NATO chief Mark Rutte says the alliance needs to slash its reliance on the United States and become more European to stay transatlantic.

- PATRIOT MISSILE SERVICE CENTER TO BE ESTABLISHED IN EUROPE
Poland is joining forces with the likes of Germany and Sweden to roll out the continent’s first service center for advanced U.S. Patriot missiles. The deal with the U.S. is designed to ramp up production and maintenance of the sought-after interceptors, which are also at the center of a fierce political feud in Warsaw over their export to Ukraine.

- MONACO BOMB PLOT CLAIMS FIRST DEADLY VICTIM: THE PERPETRATOR
Prosecutors in Kyiv say an active-duty military intelligence officer has confessed to killing the woman accused of carrying out a Monaco bomb attack on a wealthy Ukrainian-born businessman. The suspect fled to France after the assassination attempt late last month, before arriving in Ukraine, where she was reportedly found dead.
