Initiation schools expected to open on Friday

The Bolobedu royal council says that thirteen applications out of 50 for initiation schools have been approved in Bolobedu this winter season.

The initiation schools are expected to open on Friday until the 19th of July 2026.

During a media briefing in Modjadjiskloof, the council says strict measures have been put in place to ensure a safe and smooth initiation season.
