SAPS is besieged with rot, corruption: Fadiel Adams

Leader of the National Coloured Congress Fadiel Adams says the South African Police Service is deep-rooted in rot and corruption beyond what has been recently revealed to the general public.

He has accused high ranking officers within SAPS including Crime Intelligience Head Lieutenant-General Dumisani Khumalo of fraud, corruption and being allegedly captured by criminal syndicates.

Adams has blamed the National Police Commissioner General Fannie Masemola of failing to hold officers involved in alledge criminal networks to account.

He was speaking after the appearance of Masemola at the Pretoria Magistrate's Court this morning.
