Uproar over arrest of former Chief Justice David Maraga

MARAGA ARRESTED

Former Chief Justice David Maraga was among several demonstrators arrested on Monday for protesting alleged plans to construct a 76-acre car park within the Nairobi National Park along Lang’ata Road. Law Society of Kenya, among other stakeholders, faulted the alleged development, saying the project was being pushed through without public participation.
