Malaysia’s anti-graft agency said on Wednesday (May 6) it will step up efforts to recover more high-value artworks linked to the 1MDB scandal, after retrieving four pieces including a Pablo Picasso print.
The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) said the works were recovered with help from US authorities, with eight more still being pursued through legal and diplomatic channels.
The artworks are part of 12 pieces worth about US$30 million and will be handed over to the National Art Gallery. #malaysia #malaysianews #1MDB
