Russia-Ukraine war: Moscow says Kyiv violated self-declared ceasefire but 3-day truce holds

Russia's defence ministry has accused Ukraine of violating a unilaterally declared ceasefire by President Vladimir Putin that began on May 8. This comes as the nation celebrates Victory Day, marking the Allied victory in World War II. Russian state media cited the ministry, saying that Ukrainian drones and artillery struck its forces, as well as civilian targets. But Moscow says it will observe a three-day ceasefire arranged by Washington which starts from May 9. Dasha Chernyshova reports from Moscow.
