Thabo Bester escape pre-trial hearing scheduled for today in the Free State High Court

Another pre-trial hearing in the Thabo Bester escape saga is scheduled for today at the Free State High Court in Bloemfontein.

The court is set to evaluate trial readiness and pave the way for the main trial window and lay the foundation ahead of the provisional trial date set for the 20th of July to the 18th of August.

Convicted murderer and rapist Thabo Bester, along with Dr. Nandipha Magudumana and their co-accused, face charges including fraud, arson, corruption, and violating a corpse related to his audacious 2022 escape from the Mangaung Correctional Centre
