Ukraine targets Russian oil tankers in new strategy to isolate Crimea

Ukraine has shifted its focus from Russian warships to merchant vessels linked to the so-called shadow fleet — aging oil tankers accused of helping Russia bypass Western sanctions. Kyiv says it has targeted dozens of these vessels as part of a wider strategy to disrupt supply routes to the Russian-controlled Crimean Peninsula.
