Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has dismissed Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi and replaced him with Major General Mykhailo Drapatyi. The Ukrainian president has also vowed to keep former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov in the government.

- RUSSIAN REGIONS HIT BY OVERNIGHT UKRAINIAN ATTACKS
Ukrainian strikes have caused a series of fires in southern Russia overnight into Wednesday and caused blackouts in occupied Crimea. Kyiv continues attacks on Russian military infrastructure to hinder its military capabilities.

- FRANCE TO BAN SOCIAL MEDIA FOR UNDER-15S
French President Emmanuel Macron praised the newly greenlit social media ban for children under the age of 15 in an online post on Tuesday. The ban might come into effect as early as September, making France the first European country to implement such a solution.
