President Murmu Pushes Major Trade Expansion #IndiaNorthMacedonia

It is a pleasure to visit North Macedonia. I sincerely thank President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova and the people of North Macedonia for their warm welcome and hospitality. This is the first State Visit by an Indian President since the establishment of diplomatic relations, and I am confident it will open a new chapter in our bilateral ties. Earlier today, we held productive discussions on the full spectrum of bilateral cooperation, as well as regional and global issues. We reaffirmed our close friendship based on shared democratic values and mutual respect. Economic cooperation remains a key pillar of our partnership. We agreed to strengthen trade, investment, and business-to-business collaboration, with the goal of doubling bilateral trade. We also discussed cooperation in IT, agriculture, food processing, pharmaceuticals, textiles, tourism, hospitality, and filmmaking.
