Gauteng steps up fight against gun violence: Dr Bandile Masuku shares insights

Mothers in Westbury, Johannesburg, who have lost their sons to gun violence and gang-related killings, say they feel the justice system has abandoned them, and they are living in fear.

The Gauteng Legislature's Portfolio Committee on Community Safety, and Gun Free South Africa, visited the community to hear their concerns and discuss possible solutions.

Joining us to discuss efforts to tackle gun violence and improve community safety is Dr Bandile Masuku, Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Community Safety in the Gauteng Provincial Legislature.
