WHO declares Ebola outbreak an emergency

The DRC government has announced a sharp increase in the number of deaths linked to the current Ebola outbreak in the east of the country.
It says 118 people have died.

This as cases are being reported over a wide area.

The government also says that its response teams are working hard to trace and investigate suspected infections.
