Trump, Modi expected to meet on sidelines of G7 summit

United States President Donald Trump is expected to meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the G7 summit. If the talks go ahead, they will be the first face-to-face meeting between the two leaders since February last year when they pledged to deepen ties between their countries. But relations have come under strain in recent weeks, after New Delhi condemned US military strikes on civilian vessels in the Gulf, which killed three Indian sailors.
