A handful of European leaders have agreed in Paris to join forces with Ukraine to tackle the threat of ballistic missiles. The move follows a meeting of the so-called Coalition of the Willing, with Volodymyr Zelenskyy putting Kyiv’s air defenses at the top of the agenda.

- NO EU AGREEMENT REACHED ON CAP ON RUSSIAN OIL
Top European diplomats are deadlocked in Brussels over a sanctions package targeted at Russia’s energy industry. The race is on to greenlight the deal with a price cap on Kremlin oil set to otherwise rise automatically later this week.

- WHO WILL BE UKRAINE’S NEXT PRIME MINISTER?
Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reportedly offered the job of Prime Minister to the boss of Ukraine’s largest state oil and gas company, Serhii Koretskyi as part of a major cabinet reshuffle. It comes in the same 24 hours that Ukrainian forces struck the Russian capital of Moscow, sparking fires at two oil depots.
