The Independent Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC) remains firmly in the spotlight. This week, the Madlanga Commission heard explosive testimony about the alleged capture of the Crime Intelligence unit, while questions were also raised after key witness Andrea Johnson submitted a medical certificate that commissioners described as inadequate.
Against this backdrop, Retired Judge Takalani Joseph Raulinga, the newly appointed IDAC Oversight Judge, is set to brief the media on progress in establishing the oversight office and its strategic direction following its soft launch by Justice Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi.

Joining us for a pre-analysis is Dr Jean Redpath, Senior Researcher at the Dullah Omar Institute.
