₹29,000 करोड़ की संशोधित Khelo India योजना को कैबिनेट की मंजूरी

#WATCH | Addressing the Cabinet briefing, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said the Union Cabinet has approved the revamped Khelo India Scheme with an outlay of ₹29,000 crore for five years.

The scheme aims to strengthen India's sporting ecosystem through systematic talent identification and development, improved sports infrastructure, coaching, nutrition, mentorship, and greater integration of sports with education. Vaishnaw said it will support 10 times more athletes than before, strengthen the Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS) at the grassroots level, and align preparations for future events, including the 2030 Commonwealth Games, while encouraging greater private and CSR participation.
