This week saw scores of foreign nationals sleeping outside the refugee reception centre on Moore Road in Durban KZN, because they say they remain too afraid to return to their communities following ongoing anti-immigrant marches led by the March and March movement.
The group was moved from the Diakonia Centre for a verification process, where only two people were found to be undocumented out of more than 450 verified.
Joining the discusion is Human Rights Activist and Director of the African Refugee and Migrant Aid, Malipo Lukandamiza Mbalanga, National Assembly Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Home Affairs, Mosa Chabane, March and March Legal Advisor Xolani Zuma and Co-Founder of South Africans for Constitutional Reform (SACR), Princy Mthombeni
