Gatembu Kairu sworn in as the Court of Appeal President

Chief Justice Martha Koome has challenged the Court of Appeal to eliminate case backlog and deliver timely justice, saying the country's expanded appellate bench must translate into improved service delivery. Speaking during the swearing-in ceremony of Justice Gatembu Kairu as the new President of the Court of Appeal, the Chief Justice said the Judiciary has entered a new phase of institutional transformation.
