Cape Town woman makes brief appearence in court for alleged murder

The Cape Town woman who allegedly murdered and decapitated her elderly sister in Bellville South has made another brief appearance in the Bellville Magistrates Court. The 63-year-old accused is still waiting for a bed to become available at Valkenberg Psychiatric Hospital where she will undergo mental evaluation. She is currently number five on the waiting list. The case has been postponed to September 2026.
