Judgement is reserved in the matter between Umkhonto We Sizwe Party and the Electoral Commission. The official opposition and the IEC battled it out at the electoral court in Johannesburg.
The MK Party, in its heads of argument, alleged that the technical glitches that had occurred with the IEC leaderboard system were because the Commission manipulated the system when the dashboard went offline, further alleging vote rigging.
The IEC, in turn, argued that the MK Party has not provided any substance to back up its allegations.
The IEC believes it will be vindicated by the court process.
