Ecuador's ex-minister arrested in assassination case | DW News

Former Ecuadoran Interior Minister Jose Serrano has been extradited from the United States to Ecuador, where prosecutors accuse him of helping plan the 2023 assassination of presidential candidate Fernando Villavicencio. The case has deepened Ecuador's political divisions.
