Monswamy Murders | 3 suspects in court for alleged murder of 7 people

Three men charged with the kidnapping and murder of a KwaZulu-Natal businessman and 6 of his relatives will make their first court appearance today.

Allan Monswamy, his wife, 2 children and 3 family members were kidnapped during a break-in at their house on Tuesday night.

Police say the victims were then taken to Melmoth, where they were shot and stabbed to death by the attackers.

Money was withdrawn from the accounts, and one of the women was allegedly raped. One of the accused is an employee at Monswamy's construction company.
