Madlanga Commission | Malatji grilled over multi-million rand tender: Azaniah Mnisi

Suspended Director of Asset Protection Services at the Tshwane Metro Police Department, Tshukudu Malatji, has conceded at the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry that it's possible some invoices were signed off without proper verification.

Malatji testified that the City is responsible for overseeing more than 500 sites, a workload he says has stretched capacity, leaving the department with insufficient resources to effectively monitor and verify all operations.

His admission comes amid scrutiny over procurement processes and payment approvals linked to controversial ad hoc services.
