Lesufi meets with Gauteng's Peace Wardens

Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi has met with the province's Peace Wardens at Ellis Park Arena today, in the first formal gathering since the unit was disbanded last year over legality concerns.

The Premier says the unit is now recognised by the state, with new training and oversight.

The group was first established in 2023.
