CGTN reporter Alasdair Baverstock from Mexico sampled Beijing's iconic roast duck during his first visit to China, from tasting crispy duck skin dipped in sugar to learning an unexpected Chinese dining custom. In many Chinese banquets, finishing every dish may suggest that guests are still hungry, so leaving a small amount of food behind can signal that the host has provided more than enough.
