Crocodile River | Search begins for vehicle and occupants after it plunged into river

Police divers, paramedics and law enforcement officers have arrived on the scene, and have begun the search for a vehicle and its occupants that plunged into the Crocodile River in Mbombela, Mpumalanga Province.

In the early hours of Sunday morning, the vehicle reportedly plunged into the Crocodile River. It's believed the driver failed to stop at an intersection, crashed through a fence, and ended up in the river nearly 500 metres away.

The river is known to be infested with crocodiles, raising fears for anyone who may have been inside the vehicle.
