NAMPO Harvest Day under way in Bothaville, Free State

The Poultry Masterplan is entering a critical new phase, aimed at sustaining South Africa's poultry farmers and opening doors for emerging players.

At the centre of this plan is the transition from a domestic-focused industry to a global export powerhouse.

​Currently, local egg exports are largely restricted to neighbouring SADC countries, but the goal is to break into broader international markets.
