Nurses Union threatens to extend strike to referral hospitals

The paralysis that has rocked the provision of healthcare in counties risks extending to referral facilities if the government fails to resolve the ongoing nurses' strike in the next seven days. The Kenya National Union of Nurses insists that nurses will remain on strike until the Salaries and Remuneration Commission issues a letter of no objection to the agreement reached under their Collective Bargaining Agreement.
