Following his state visit to #Uzbekistan, the PM Narendra Modi
will travel to Bishkek from August 31 to September 1 for the 26th #SCOSummit, marking the organisation’s 25th anniversary. With 10 members, 15 dialogue partners and several observers, the SCO focuses on combating terrorism, separatism and extremism while expanding cooperation across sectors. India joined as a member in 2017 and has chaired the SCO in 2020 and 2022–23. India’s priorities include security, trade, connectivity, sovereignty, environment, and cultural and people-to-people ties.
