Parents slam delays over overcrowded school crisis

The Gauteng Department of Education is under fire from some parents at Windmill Park Secondary School in Ekurhuleni - for delaying to deal with overcrowding at the school. Parents say the school which is meant to accomodate a thousand learners, is occupied by at least three thousand learners. At the same time, a newly built school in the area remains unoccupied. Parents say they have been waiting on the department to move some of their children there, to alleviate the pressure.
