Jubilee party files two petitions challenging party leadership and underfunding

Jubilee Party has filed two petitions at the High Court challenging changes to the party's leadership and the government’s continued failure to allocate and disburse money to the Political Parties Fund as required by law. The Party wants the High Court to block Fred Matiang’i’s bid for the 2027 presidential ticket and to compel the National Assembly and Treasury to distribute amounts that are above the legal threshold in light of ongoing political realignments. This even as Jubilee Youth League has reacted to the Secretary General UDA letter to President Uhuru Kenyatta.
