The 48th Session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee, the organization’s highest decision-making body on the inscription, conservation, and management of World Heritage sites, officially opened on July 19 at BEXCO in Busan, Korea’s maritime capital!

The event brought together a record-breaking 3,000 participants, including delegations and heritage experts from 196 states parties around the world.
